Congratulations to Bro. Dylan Boone and his wife Cara on the birth of their first child, a boy, Drew Brooks Boone, born at 10:34 a.m. on Monday, 09 March 2026. 8 lbs, 7 oz and 19 inches. Mother and child are doing fine. Best wishes to all for a happy, healthy, love-filled life!
SCHOLARSHIP TIME
We have already received some applications, so the process is moving along. As stated before, we are also reviewing our scholarship criteria for next year to keep it updated and coordinated with our goal of serving our community. If you have any suggestions on what we should keep or change, please contact the Secretary so he can forward them to the committee for consideration.
ADVERTISERS
We have a full-sized advertising spot opening up and available to anyone interested. We’ll be sending renewal notices to our advertisers in the near future. Brothers, remember to patronize these businesses, since their support helps cover our bulletin expenses. 2026 DUES We are down to 6 members who owe 2026 dues. If you are having trouble, let the Secretary know.
EMAIL ADDRESSES
We pay the US Postal Service for a bulk mail permit that allows us to mail our bulletins at a significantly reduced rate. To use that permit, we must mail a minimum of 200 items at a time. With our decline in membership due to the ravages of time, we are now down to 200, many of whom are widows, lodge secretaries, and members of other lodges. Last year, we spent almost $2,400 on bulletin printing and postage. If we had email addresses for everyone, we could eliminate most of that. Please send me your email address, if you have one, so we can see if emailing bulletins is a viable option.
